I was never happy with this illustration, not enough emotion in his face. Almost the whole painting was executed with tester pots for emulsion paints – so much cheaper than acrylic!

Creepy Scrawlers Ltd. is the creative home of Jim Kay and Louise Clark. We established the Company to encompass all of our creative endeavours, from illustration to embroidery, and millinery to fabric design. All of our work is inspired by the natural world, and we aspire to provide you with beautiful things that enhance your life that you can’t find elsewhere.
Jim Kay is an illustrator and printmaker working in East Sussex, he predominantly provides illustrations for children’s books, but has also worked in film and television as a concept artist.
Louise Clark is a Milliner also based in East Sussex, and recently won the 2017 Bridport Hat Festival Open Competition for her hat ‘In an English Country Garden’.
